walmart

i always shop at wal-mart for the sole reason that they advertise that they have the lowest prices around.  when i went there today to pick up some groceries i was looking and comparing some prices and the question came to my head: "when they say lowest prices, do they mean that every single item in their store is the lowest price or do they mean that the average of all the products is sold the cheapest.  I was wondering this because wal mart has their own brand called Great Value or GV.  they always put the GV next to the brand name product.  If they are counting the GV products at the lowest price then i think that is false advertising because that is their own brand competing against other brands instead of them selling well known brands for cheaper.  If anyone has some insight on this topic please comment.

ps i ALWAYS buy GV over the other brands...it's so much cheaper
