Why J.R. Smith is more important to the Knicks than Jeremy Lin

Jeremy Lin is much less important to the knicks than JR Smith is because while Lin is on his high horse having good games against bad teams and bad games against good teams, Jr Smith is providing solid numbers and energy off the bench that help boost the Knicks second unit. Everyone is all over Jeremy Lin's 'game' that they are over looking some key pick ups from free agency. Anyone can do what Lin is doing if they had the chance because when Tony Douglas started he had great numbers and Baron Davis, their current back up PG has the skills to do what Lin is doing, if not do better. In the Knicks system, any PG would succeed, while Jr Smith is doing what he does best, and that is help strengthen and add depth to an injury depleted roster. Steve Novak is also being seriously over shadowed by this Linsanity bull honky. I could go on and on about how Lin isn't as good as everyone thinks he is and how he is just becoming the Tim Tebow of the NBA, but I will hold back for the sake of length of this blog. LeBron James and the Heat showed us what Lin is truly like against contender teams and people should be able to move on now. Linsanity is just got burned.
